ViewQwest was founded in Singapore as a business communications service provider, gaining a foothold in the enterprise market.
Secured a Facilities-based Operator (FBO) License.
OpenNet began rolling out optical fibre to homes, offices, and buildings, developing Singapore’s Next Generation Nationwide Broadband Network.
ViewQwest was one of the first Operating Companies (OpCos) to migrate its enterprise customers to the Next Gen NBN.
ViewQwest entered the residential market with the launch of Fibernet Home Broadband with “true unlimited internet.” It is the first OpCo in Singapore without international bandwidth caps.
Introduced Freedom DNS, a groundbreaking value-added service enabling access to geo-restricted content unavailable in Singapore (e.g. Netflix US, Disney+, and Hulu)
ViewQwest became the first in Singapore and second globally to launch a 2Gbps broadband plan.
Launched the first Secured Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) service in Singapore for enterprise networks.
ViewQwest dominated the Speedtest Awards category in Singapore as the Fastest ISP / Fixed Network from 2018 to 2022.
Established commercial operations in the Philippines, focusing on top enterprises in the country.
Launched SecureNet, a first-of-its-kind advanced network security service built into a broadband service.
Expanded market coverage to Hong Kong, focusing on top regional enterprises.
